Last week in the NFL the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos battled each other and, even though the teams were playing each other, it was really a battle of the quarterbacks.

Peyton Manning (Denver) led his team to a 24-0 lead over the Patriots by halftime. Many people thought New England had no chance of coming back, but, boy, were they ever wrong. Tom Brady, (New England), led his team back to tie the game at 31 at the end of regulation. Broncos fans everywhere couldn't believe it. In overtime, the Patriots scored a game-winning field goal to win in outstanding fashion. Even though his team lost, it wasn't really Peyton Manning's fault for losing the game. He plays on offense, his defense gave up a sure win. This is why I think Peyton Manning had a better game and why it was a battle of veteran quarterbacks.
