The Denver Broncos are going through many changes entering the 2010 season. Two of those changes are new QB Kyle Orton, and new coach Josh McDaniel's. That means the Broncos will be learning a new system and it may take some time for them to adjust. As for the defense, I think it will improve a lot with new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan. Unfortunately the Broncos have a tough schedule including New England, NY Giants, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, so I think the Broncos will end the season with an 8-8 record and not make the playoffs.

Every team in the NFL has a chance to compete in the Super Bowl, but I have two teams in mind. In the AFC, I think the Patriots will win the AFC because Tom Brady is back and that means the same high scoring offense we saw in 2008 plus they signed RB Fred Taylor an explosive play maker in the run game. In the NFC, I think the Vikings will win the NFC because they made the playoffs last year and the addition of Brett Favre's leadership will help get the Vikings to the big game. My prediction ofSuper Bowl XLIV is that the Patriots will come out on top in a close, high-scoring thriller.

Every year in the NFL there are surprise playoff teams. Last season there were the Falcons and Ravens, but this year my picks for the surprise playoff teams are the Texans in the AFC and the Saints in the NFC. The Texans have a good team but are always under the radar, because they are in the toughest division in the NFL. However, with the Colts are slowly declining,  the Texans may make a run for a wild card spot. The reason I chose the Saints is because they have a high powered passing attack led by Drew Brees and the new addition of Darren Sharper on defense. Don’t be surprised if either of these teams makes the playoffs.
