At Harding School, my middle school, on Saturday Jan. 23rd I hosted a PLAY 60 workshop. Super Saturday started 9:30am and lasted until 11:30am. We did different exercises including: marching; jump rope; step ups; skipping; knee tucks and push-ups!
We did all these exercises in thirty five minutes. Every thirty five minutes the kids went to another area to do different things. The other things that the kids could do were some Chinese lessons or learn about Lego League. I did my workshop for about two hours. I know that I got my sixty minutes in and more.

There were about fifty families at the workshop. Most families there had about three people per family. You do the math 50X3=150, 150 people there at my school, that's a lot of people for 9:30 in the morning! But the more the merrier said my principal, Ms. Hutchinson.
Next month, we are doing another Super Saturday based around the Olympics. Do you know of any events we could duplicate in the gym using measuring, time and weight?
Don't forget to go PLAY 60!
