This morning the Cleveland Browns named veteran Brian Hoyer as their starting QB, meaning rookie Johnny Manziel will have to wait...for now.
In a tight battle between the two players, neither distinguished himself in the first two preseason games. The Browns chose the more experienced option, as Hoyer has played in the NFL for five years.
Hopefully the Browns will have a few special plays for Manziel each game; we want to see this kid play!
The Browns open the regular season against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
