Cookies N Rookies was an exclusive event for the Houston Texan's Toro’s Kids Club members. Toro is the Texan's mascot. Kids pay $25 to join his club and as members, they receive Texans merchandise, discounts in the store and the opportunity to participate in Kids Club only events.
Cookies N Rookies took place on Saturday, May 30, in the Texan's Methodist Training Center. Rookies Glover Quinn, a Defensive Back and Troy Nolan, a Safety interacted with the youth in PLAY 60 activities including Running Back drills, Kicking drills, Wide Receiver drills and Defensive Relays. After a 60 minute workout, the Rookies treated the youth to cookies while they answered questions and signed autographs.
