On Saturday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will induct six former NFL players as part of the 2008 class in Canton, Ohio. This group includes: DE Fred Dean (1975-85), CB Darrel Green (1983-02), WR Art Monk (1980-95), CB Emmitt Thomas (1966-78), LB Andre Tippett (1982-93) and OT Gary Zimmerman (1986-97). You can catch the ceremonies on NFL Network with coverage starting at 4:00 PM ET, including a 2-hour pre-show. Congratulations to these superstars.
The fun in Canton doesn’t stop there, though. On Sunday, the first NFL football game of the 2008-2009 season, the annual Hall of Fame Game, will kick off at 8:00 PM ET on NBC. The Washington Redskins will play the Indianapolis Colts and give fans a chance to see former Dolphins DE Jason Taylor play his first game as a Redskin. The wait is over and the NFL is back in action this weekend!
