In a transitional year for NFL TEs, it’s very likely that one of the less-heralded players will emerge to be a fantasy star. The trick will be identifying this player before everyone else. We suggest you keep an eye on the following possible stars.

Tyler Eifert – Cincinnati Bengals

Okay, maybe we’ve watched too many episodes of Hard Knocks, but it’s hard not to see a young Jimmy Graham in the play of Tyler Eifert. The rookie has all the skills needed to be a star for years to come.

Zach Sudfeld – New England Patriots

We’ll admit to never having heard of Zach Studfeld before two weeks ago. However, if past history is any indication, he will be the latest in a long line of stud TEs to play for the Patriots.

Jordan Cameron – Cleveland Browns

The last time Browns new offensive coordinator Norv Turner had an ex-basketball player at TE (Antonio Gates), he turned in to a perennial Pro Bowler. Could lightning strike twice? It’s too early for Cameron to start making travel plans to Hawaii just yet, but he does have all the physical tools needed to break out.
