Do The Lions Have Any More Roar?

The Lions hope to pull off a roarin' win in a game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Lions unfortunately have nothing to play for. The Lions quarterback, Mathew Stafford, is not going to play on Sunday due to his shoulder injury.

I think they should put in #5 Drew Stanton instead of starting Daunte Culpepper against the Cardinals. Daunte Culpepper had a bad game against the Baltimore Ravens last week, throwing for only 135 yards with two picks, 1 fumble, and no touchdowns.

Kevin Smith is out for the season so the Lions running game will be hurting. The Cardinals wide-out, Larry Fitzgerald participated in limited practices this week due to a leg injury he sustained while playing against the San Francisco 49ers. It looks like he'll play this weekend. Kurt Warner will be lucky to have Fitzgerald to throw to in addition to Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston. Beanie Wells could have a good game against the weaker Lions defense. I predict a Cardinals win, 41-10.

At this point in the season, I think the two teams that are going to go to the Super Bowl are the New Orleans Saints and the San Diego Chargers. The Saints have a speedy running back in Reggie Bush and a great quarterback, Drew Brees. Brees and Bush plus others have lead the Saints to an undefeated season so far. The Chargers have future hall of fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson and a peaking Philip Rivers leading the offense. It would be a great offensive game to watch, with the Saints coming out on top in an exciting and close Super Bowl.
