In one of the wildest games of the year, the San Diego Chargers (5-6) scored the game winning TD with: 24 seconds left in the game to hand the Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) their second straight loss, 40-38.

The game featured eight lead changes and the two teams combined for 881 total yards.  Alex Smith hit Dwayne Bowe for what appeared to be the winning score with 1:24 left in the game, but Philip Rivers, who threw three TD and 392 yards on the day, was able to connect with Seyi Ajirotutu on the 25-yard TD to seal the victory.

The win keeps the Chargers playoff hopes alive, while Kansas City look to shake of their second loss to a divisional rival, after starting the season 9-0.
