Will Perry Fewell make a difference? Fewell, 47, was hired as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday. This could be just the spark the Bills are looking for down the home stretch. Their record is 3-6 to date. They play the 5-4 Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday. A former Jacksonville assistant coach, Fewell has already made one big step in his short time with the Bills. The interim (only to the end of the season) head coach named Ryan Fitzpatrick the starting quarterback over Trent Edwards. I don't think Fewell and the Bills have much to lose. Good luck for the rest of the season. Fantasy Hot Picks Peyton Manning continues his domination of the AFC, leading the Colts to a stunning 35-34 win over the Patriots last week. Manning tops the league with 2872 yards passing. He also has 20 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. He faces another tough test in the Baltimore Ravens this week, but should lead Indianapolis to another victory. A second 9-0 team, the New Orleans Saints, has a great player in Reggie Bush. A do-everything back, Bush has averaged 5.0 yards per carry, has caught 29 passes, and scored six touchdowns. I look for Bush to march on in for two more scores against the Buccaneers this weekend. Wes Welker continues to be the leading receiver for the Patriots with 64 catches for 10.3 yards per catch average. While only scoring four touchdowns, Welker makes big plays to keep drives alive. New England and Welker will be looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Jets when they play this weekend. |
