Check it out - Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was named the 2011 Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year! Cam beat out Bengals QB Andy Dalton to win the  award. 

 

In his very first NFL season, Cam set the NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a single season by a quarterback (14). On top of that, he became the first player in league history to throw for 4,000 yards and rush for 500.

 

The Panthers have got to be proud - Cam helped them improve from 2-14 to 6-10, throwing for 21 touchdowns. He's also the very first Panther to become the Offensive Rookie of the Year!
