In a hard fought battle the Denver Broncos beat Kansas City 27-17 and ended the Chiefs undefeated season.  The two teams are now tied atop the AFC West.

 

The teams played an even first half before the Broncos pulled ahead thanks to several long drives engineered by Peyton Manning.  Rookie Montee Ball scored twice while Manning had 323 yards passing and one TD.

 

The Chiefs were led by Alex Smith, who rushed for 52 yards and thew two TDs passes, and Jamaal Charles, who had 78 yards on the ground.
