NFL scouts are in a frenzy over the 14 year old phenom from South Dakota with the golden arm and the lightning legs. Kevin Larkin's life is about to change as he has quickly become the favorite for the #1 draft choice in the NFL. Kevin, who turned 14 last month has never played organized football, but all scouts agree, he could break every passing record in history before he is old enough to vote.
Who is Kevin Larkin? He's being called the Wonder Kid. At 14 years old, he's only 5' 4" and 128 pounds, which doesn't seem like NFL material until you watch him run. Kevin is just one-tenth of a second off of Darrell Green's 40 yard dash record with a time of 4.10. Sure, he's fast, but that's not why NFL scouts from New York to Dallas are drooling over him. Kevin Larkin can throw a football 105 yards… and that's no joke! And while that alone may be amazing, it's not how far he throws it, but it's his accuracy that has even the Manning brothers baffled. Kevin's mom, April Larkin says "Kevin's a good boy. He does a lot of work on the farm. He's always made a game out of throwing bails of hay or milk bottles. I guess we never realized that throwing a milk bottle 300 feet into the bottle holder was a big deal."
NFLRush got a sneak peak at Kevin's private workout with an NFL team "Kevin outran everyone and he completed every single pass. I've never seen anything like it!" said an anonymous NFL scout. Many teams are scrambling to make a trade and make Kevin their first round pick. He is being called Joe Montana, Randall Cunningham and Bart Starr all rolled into one 14 year old football player. One thing is for sure. Kevin Larkin is about to change the NFL forever.
