In a wild back-and-forth game between two teams who both desperately needed a win, the Chicago Bears came out on top of the New York Giants 27-21.
The Bears got on the board first thanks to an outstanding defensive play by Bears DB Tim Jennings, who returned an interception for a 48-yard TD. On offense Bears WR Brandon Marshall, in sweet green shoes, carried the Bears to a 21-14 lead. Marshall made several acrobatic catches including two TDs in the first half.
Giants QB Eli Manning started horribly with two early interceptions but he refused to quit. Eli and RB Brandon Jacobs, who had a great game with over 100 yards rushing, kept the Giants in the game but their hopes for a dramatic victory were dashed when Eli threw his third interception of the game to Bears CB Tim Jennings.
