Big boys, big skills

Big skills. That’s what DL Haloti Ngata brings to the table for the second coming of the Baltimore Ravens’ “Purple People Eaters.” Combined with arguably the best defense in the League after a 35-7 drubbing of Pittsburgh, he is now looked at as one of the best inside lineman on the defensive side of the ball.

Taken in the 1st round of the 2006 NFL Draft, Ngata returned a turnover for a touchdown in his 1st NFL game against Tampa Bay and hasn’t slowed down since. With the departure of nose tackle Kelly Gregg to Kansas City, this could be Ngata’s year to shine.
