Hey that's spelled wrong! Peyback should be spelled with a P-A-Y. Well actually, not in this case. Not when the payback is coming from Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning.

Peyton decided in 1999 that he wanted to give back to the community or "payback" his good fortune. His goal was to help out disadvantaged, 'at-risk' youth in the places that helped him out the most when he was growing up: Louisiana, where he played high school football; Tennessee, where he played college football at the University of Tennessee; and Indiana, where he currently plays for the Indianapolis Colts. It's important to help kids who don't have the same opportunities as he did growing up.

Peyton Manning believes in giving back to the community.

Every year he hosts the Peyback Classic which enables five inner-city Indianapolis high school football teams to play in the RCA Dome, home of the world champion Indianapolis Colts. Imagine how cool it is for high school players to run out onto that football field!

The Peyback Classic was created because when Peyton was a high school quarterback in Louisiana, his own team got the chance to play in the Louisiana Superdome. It was an experience that inspired him and his teammates. So like the name of his charity, Peyton is paying back the same opportunities that he had when he was in high school.

The Peyback Classic isn't the only program that Peyton's foundation hosts. In 2002, the "Peyton's Pals" ticket incentive program began. This program was created to invite disadvantaged youth to Indianapolis Colts home games throughout the entire season! Each participant receives a PeyBack Foundation T-shirt and a voucher for a free soda, hot dog, chips, and a pretzel.

Thanks to Peyton and his Peyback Foundation, disadvantaged children in three states have opportunities available to them that wouldn't exist without Peyton's desire to Peyback!
