In a possible NFC Championship preview, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-28 in a thrilling back-and-forth game. 

 

The 49ers were led by QB Colin Kaepernick and WR Anquan Boldin both of whom had huge games.  Kaepernick threw for a career high 413 yards and 3 TDs, while Boldin made a spectacular 49ers debut with 13 catches for 208 yards receiving and a TD.

 

The Packers hung tough with the 49ers thanks to a strong defensive performance and big offense from QB Aaron Rodgers (333 yards passing and 3 TD passes) and two 100+ yard receiving games from both WR Jordy Nelson and WR Randall Cobb.
