The San Francisco 49ers pulled-away in the end for a hard-fought victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 33-14.
After the 49ers kicked a 4th quarter field goal to take a 23-14 lead, the Buccaneers tried a little trickery by running a reverse on the ensuing kickoff. This led to disaster, however, as a botched handoff on the reverse was picked up by 49er Kendall Hunter for an easy touchdown.
49ers QB Colin Kaepernick was strong with 203 yards passing and TDs to TE Vernon Davis and WR Michael Crabtree.
Buccaneers QB Mike Glennon threw for 179 yards and 2 TDs in the loss.
