FEBRUARY 7 - Super Bowl SUNDAY - WESLEY LIVE!!!
OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH WE WON! I KNEW THEY COULD DO IT!
Drew told them "you can win" and they did! I can't stop smiling because the Saints are the champions of the world.
Ok, Let me tell you all about how my Super Bowl Day started: First the Cartoon Network crew (Pretzel and Cheezit) came to my hotel to go with me in the car to the stadium to film me riding to the game.
When we got to the Super Bowl game and there was a FAIR there. My Nana went with me on the swing ride. I was scared at first but thought it was really fun. She is the coolest grandmother!
We played other games and then met Jessica from the NFL to go into the stadium. We got to hang out in the VIP green room and eat yummy snacks. The officials for the Super Bowl were really funny and liked to make silly jokes about each other. I got to take pictures with them and everyone knew that I won the PLAY 60 contest and that I was the Super Kid.
Then came my big moment! I was a little nervous because there were so many people there but I thought about Drew Brees and how he would cheer me on and say "Wesley you can do this" AND I DID! It was great! Did you see me on TV??
Then I went to my seat on the 7th row and watched the Saints WIN! "Hooray!" my Aunt and Mommy screamed so loud when the Saints scored. I told my Nana not to worry in the fist part of the game because the Saints were behind the Colts. I told her they will win and they did. One of my favorite parts was at halftime when the band played and there were fireworks and the prettiest light show! It was a Saintsational night!
Now I am back in New Orleans celebrating with my city. Thanks for my amazing trip. Everyone should try and enter the contest next year and maybe you can be the next Super Kid!!
