
On Thursday, all of the NFL Pro Bowl players took a break from practice to participate in the first-ever NFL PLAY 60 Pro Bowl Community Blitz. The players were split into three groups to complete a project helping local kids get more healthy and active in each of the South Florida counties.
In Palm Beach County, players built an adaptive play-space for the physically challenged students at Boca Raton Community Middle School who have also participated in the NFL PLAY 60 Challenge.
In Broward County, a customized KaBOOM! playground was built in partnership with at RISE Academy School of Science and Technology, a charter school which previously had no gym or play area.

And in Miami-Dade County, players led NFL YET kids in an NFL PLAY 60 Youth Football Festival and Healthy Cooking Demonstration. All Pro Bowl players participated at one of the three locations, including Miles Austin, Yeremiah Bell, Josh Cribbs, Vernon Davis, Brian Dawkins, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, David Garrard, Brandon Marshall, Donovan McNabb, Matt Schaub, Steve Smith, DeMarcus Ware, and Jason Witten!
Commissioner Roger Goodell, Pro Bowl Coaches Norv Turner and Wade Phillips, and ESPN and NFL Network talent as well as volunteers from Bank of America also took part in the PLAY 60 Community Blitz!
