Matthew Stafford was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his amazing playing in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns. Congratulations Matthew! He threw for 422 yards and a rookie record breaker 5 TDs! Stafford showed what he's made of by returning to the game after getting hurt to throw the game-winning touchdown. He definitely played his A-game.

Will he play this week? The decision hasn't been made yet. After last week and the positive momentum, I hope he can play against the Packers. The Packers have mighty secondarys and Aaron Rodgers. The Lions need to step up on their defense to pull off the win. My prediction is Lions 28 and Packers 21.

My Thanksgiving will be awesome because not only do I get to write about my favorite team, I'm going to see them play live! This is my first trip to Ford Field (Super Bowl XL was played here in 2006). I can't wait! Go Lions!
