The 2014 NFL Draft concluded on Saturday, and with 256 players taken, it’s clear that some NFL teams made out better than others.
Here are a few of the teams that did well:
The Jaguars began by adding their QB of the future, Blake Bortles, and then went to work giving Bortles some weapons. Blake gets a pair of talented WRs, Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson, as well as his college backfield teammate, RB Storm Johnson.
With their first pick the Raiders added LB Kahlil Mack, perhaps the best defensive player in the draft, and with their second pick they added Derek Carr, possibly the best QB.
Green Bay Packers
The Packers more than addressed their needs with the additions of S Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, WRs Davante Adams and Jared Abbrederis, and TE Richard Rogers.
The Steelers were looking to get younger and they added some very high-quality players. LB Ryan Shazier and DE Stephon Tuitt will reinvigorate the Pittsburgh defense while WRs Dri Archer and Martavius Bryant are explosive players who will add more big plays to the offense.
