2014 NFL Draft - Top QB Prospects

You draft a QB like ManningBradyBrees or Rodgers and you set your team up as a Super Bowl contender for a decade.

You draft the wrong guy at QB, however, and you can set your team back for years.
So how do you tell the studs from the duds?  It's part scouting, part gut instinct, and part (Andrew) luck.
Which of the QBs in this year's draft are destined for greatness?  Tell us in comments.

Blake Bortles – South Florida

Bortles has the prototypical size and arm strength needed to be a starting NFL QB.

    Fiesta Bowl MVP – (2013)

American Athletic Player of the Year - (2013)

Threw for 7,598 yards and 71 TDs during his career at USF.

Teddy Bridgewater – Louisville

Bridgewater overcomes his smallish stature with strong scrambling skills and a knack for finding open receivers.

    Sugar Bowl MVP – (2013)

Big East Player of the Year – (2013)

Threw for 9,817 yards and 98 TDs during his career at Louisville

Derek Carr – Fresno State

Carr is the younger brother of David Carr who was the overall number one pick in 2002 NFL Draft.

Mountain West Player of the Year – (2012)

CFPA Elite QB Award – (2013)

Threw for 12,843 yards and 113 TDs during his career at Fresno State.

Johnny Manziel - Texas A&M

Opinions are split about Manziel’s potential as an NFL QB.  There’s no denying his uncanny ability to make big plays in big games.

    Heisman Trophy (2012)

SEC Male Athlete of the Year (2013)

Threw for 6,935 yards and 93 TDs during his career at Texas A&M.

AJ McCarron - Alabama

McCarron is the only QB to win back-to-back national championships in the BCS-era.

BCS National Championship Offensive MVP (2012)

    Heisman Trophy Runner-Up (2013)

Threw for 9,019 and 78 TDs during his career at Alabama.
