Jets Looking For Revenge in Indianapolis!
This is a rematch of last years AFC Championship game when the Colts obliterated the Jets 30-17. But this 2011 edition could be a very different game! Especially with the Colts injuries and weak running game.
The Jets are bringing a dominant defense. But let's not forget what the Colts are bringing, Peyton Manning, which is tough on the best of days. You can be sure he'll be back on his winning form on Saturday. The Colts were 8-1 in the regular season when Manning didn't throw an INT and 0-4 when he had at least two.
But the Colts are hampered by injuries on the offensive side of the ball both in the receiver corps and running back positions, and not having a strong running game is a problem for Manning and a gift to the Jets and their hungry aggressive defense.
The running game for the Jets will have to step up big time in this game if they want to get the win, because Mark Sanchez can't carry this team by himself. A big concern is his sore throwing shoulder. He'll be looking for the one two punch of Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson to keep the Colts on their heels.
Will the Jets get their measure of revenge against this towering opponent or will they once again, be rebuffed by the potent and Manning-led Colts?
