Week one of the 2009 NFL season was very exciting. I liked seeing Tom Brady playing again for the New England Patriots. I thought they were going to lose a close game to the Buffalo Bills but they scored 2 touchdowns in 1 minute and 16 seconds. Stripping the ball on the kick off set up Brady to do his stuff. His pass to Benjamin Watson in the end zone made be believe that Tom Brady is really healed.
This week I am picking the following players for my fantasy team.
QB Drew Brees
Drew was amazing in the season opener and I think he can do it against Philadelphia. Drew could throw against anybody last year and I think he can do it again this year.
RB Adrian Peterson (Minnesota)
Adrian led the league in rushing yards last year. Adrian is also playing Detroit and I think he can destroy them. He teamed up nicely with Brett Favre.
WR Randy Moss
Randy can make great catches against anybody. I think Randy will do really well because he has a quarterback that can find him open.
TE Tony Gonzalez
Tony now has a quarterback that that can find him on the field. Tony can always get open and he is the leader in touchdowns by a tight end and I look to him to add to his total.
Defense New England Patriots
The Patriots defense has gotten better and they can stop the run and pass. I think they can stop Mark Sanchez, Leon Washington,Thomas Jones and the rest of the Jets team.
