Randy Moss

Quarterback:  Tom Brady would be my NFLRUSH fantasy league quarterback for 2009 because in 2007 he set a lot of records and threw for over 4,000 yards.  I believe Tom Brady is going to comeback fired-up mentally, physically and ready to have a great season because he did not play this past season do to an injury and he also healed from his surgery.

Running Back:  Adrian Peterson would be my NFL RUSH fantasy league running back for 2009 because, he is a premier athlete with great speed and agility that he uses to out run and cut through defensive players with.  Adrian Peterson racked up almost 2,000 yards last season (only 5 running backs in NFL history have reached that 2,000 yard mark) and 10 touchdowns.  Adrian has been training for a long time and he’s ready to play some football.

Wide Receiver:  Randy Moss would be my NFLRUSH fantasy league wide receiver for 2009 because he is very quick and has one of the best hands in the NFL.  With Tom Brady back, him and Moss will make the ultimate combo. Rewind the clocks to 2007, Randy and Tom put together 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns.  Randy Moss is dangerous to leave open because if you do he will score. Watch out for Randy Moss in 2009!

Tight end:  Tony Gonzalez would be my NFLRUSH fantasy league tight end for 2009 because he’s a huge guy with the whole package. He can block like a guard, run like running back and catch like a wide receiver, Last season he got 1,058 receiving yards, 96 catches and 10 touchdowns with a struggling Chiefs team.  He’s starting out fresh this season with a good young Atlanta Falcons team and also has a great quarterback in Matt Ryan that will pass to a lot more.  Go Gonzalez!

Defense:  I’d pick the 49ers for my NFLRUSH fantasy league defensive teams for 2009 because the last two seasons linebacker Patrick Wilson made the pro bowl.  He currently has a career total of 315 tackles and 5 sacks.  He is also a big and strong guy at 240 pounds and 6 ft. 1.  My nickname for him Iron Will.  He is going to put the 49ers in the top 5 defensive category.

Wild card player:  Vernon Davis would be my NFLRUSH league wild card player for 2009 because; he’s a big guy at 250 pounds and 6 ft. 3. He has a career total of 867 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns.  All I know is I would not want to tackle him.  The 49ers have got a new offensive coordinator in Jimmy Rayne who wants to use Vernon’s bigness to his advantage.  Look out for Vernon Davis in 2009!
