About the IFAF Junior World Championship

The Junior World Championship is a junior football tournament held between the world’s eight best 19-and-under junior national teams and sanctioned by the International Federation of American Football. Represented at the inaugural competition in Canton, Ohio, this year were teams from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Sweden and the United States. Team USA finished the week-long tournament as champions earning the Gold Medal, while Canada claimed the Silver Medal and Japan took home the Bronze. The next IFAF Junior World Championship is scheduled for 2012.
