12 winners of the Take a Player to School Sweepstakes got their prizes this week in the form of NFL player visits! It was an exciting time for both the winners and the players. Here's a look at each of the visits:
Matt Hasselbeck - Seahawks
Andy, a sixth-grader at Issaquah Middle School, brought in Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck for show and tell. Andy and Matt had a blast spending the day together!
Jason Witten - Cowboys
Shane, a Fifth grade student at Bennett Elementary School, had an extraordinary day when Cowboys TE Jason Witten accompanied him to school. Jason answered questions from Shane and his classmates and gave some good advice about getting exercise every day.
Todd Heap - Ravens
Zachary, a third grader at Piney Ridge Elementary School, was thrilled to take Ravens TE Todd Heap to school. Todd talked about getting excited for physical education and gave students a few tips on working out.
Hines Ward - Steelers
Drew, a third-grader at Stewart Elementary school, took Steelers WR Hines Ward to his school. Hines brought excitement and also a message to get outside and get physical by playing 60!
Eddie Royal - Broncos
Nicole, a fourth grader at Fairmount ElementarySchool, got a ride to school in a limo with Broncos WR Brandon Marshall. Brandon showed Gabby and her classmates a great fitness routine so they could start to Play 60 everyday!
AJ Hawk- Packers
Sam, a third-grader at McKinley Elementary School, had quite a day as he got to hang out with Packers LB A.J. Hawk. A.J. spread the word on health to Sam and all his classmates!
Drew Brees- Saints
Brent, a third-grader at Terrytown Academy, and Saints QB Drew Brees went to school together and had a blast. Drew told Brent and her classmates how they could get active and Play 60!
Nick Mangold- Jets
Donovan, a first-grader at Veterans Memorial Elementary School, had a special day at school when Jets DE Nick Mangold went with him. Nick taught the students about teamwork and having fun while achieving a goal.
Vernon Davis- 49ers
Omar, a second-grader at Fairwood Elementary School, got the thrill of a lifetime when 49ers TE Vernon Davis spent the day with him at school. Vernon let Omar and his classmates in on his secret to success: positive attitude.
Bob Sanders - Colts
Jaedon, a second-grade student at Brook Park Elementary School, had fun with Colts SS Bob Sanders on his day with the superstar. Bob excited the whole student body while delivering the message to get out and Play 60!
Steven Jackson- Rams
Andrew, a fifth grader student at Barrington Elementary, took Rams RB Steven Jackson to school. Steven joked around with Andrew and his classmates and gave a little insight into his life as an NFL superstar.
