Michel Vick is the ultimate mobile QB.  His ability to run gives the defense fits and his passing skills stretch the field.

Elvis Dumervil is one of the NFL's most feared defensive ends. His ability to get to the QB for sacks makes him a focal point for any opposing offense.

The Jets made headlines when they signed QB Tim Tebow to be the backup for QB Mark Sanchez.  There's been some guessing as to how big of a role Tebow would have but Sanchez hasn't been worried about his starting job. Sanchez said Tebow is "a backup quarterback first, and then he’ll do plenty of other stuff.”

But Tebow has been impressing his new teammates as they have gotten to know him.  CB Darrelle Revis said, "He's a born leader, he really is. Very few athletes have the gift he has."  Is Mark Sanchez's starting gig safe or is Tebow-time right around the corner?

The Seahawks already had a QB battle brewing in Seattle with Tarvaris Jackson (the starer last season) and free agent addition Matt Flynn but now QB Russell Wilson seems to be ready to join the competition.  Wilson was drafted in the third round this year but will get a chance to compete for the starting QB spot according to the head coach.

Wilson completed 225-of-309 pass attempts for 3,175 yards with 33 touchdowns and just four interceptions to lead the nation in passing efficiency in his one season at Wisconsin.  He might be the leader of the Seahawks offense by the beginning of the new season.

Junior Seau was one of the greatest players in NFL history.  He was drafted by the Chargers in 1990 and played 12 seasons in San Diego before moving on to play with the Dolphins and, finally, the Patriots.  Honoring the career of Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau Jr. by the numbers: 

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski celebrates his 23rd birthday today!  22 was especially great for him as he set records for most touchdowns by a tight end in a season (18), most receiving yards by a tight end in a season: (1,327), and became the first tight end to lead the league in receiving touchdowns.  Now that he's another year older, he's sure to do even bigger things.

I think the Chargers had a great Draft. They needed defensive players, and that's what they got, drafting all defensive players except for a running back and a center.

San Diego's first choice was Melvin Ingram, who plays defensive end. He had a good combine and a great college career. He had nine sacks his senior year, and should help the Chargers stop their opponents.

Another good pick the Chargers had was Kendall Reyes. He plays Defensive Line. I think these rookies will really help them in the future. I can't wait till the season starts to see how these players will do in their first NFL season. Go Chargers!
