As the NFL Combine prepares to kick off festivities today, we thought it’d be fun to randomly select some prospects and keep track of them as they make their way through the rigorous process from college to hopefully successful NFL careers.

Beginning tomorrow, over 300 of the very best college football players will participate in the NFL Scouting Combine (National Invitational Camp) in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Representatives from all 32 NFL teams will be on hand to evaluate the nation’s top college football players eligible for the upcoming NFL Draft. This intense, four-day job interview is an exciting time for the athletes and a vital step in achieving their dreams of playing in the NFL.

The NFL Scouting Combine will be held February 22 – 28, 2012. Get ready for the Path to Primetime to begin!

It's been 10 years since the Texans became a team. On February 18th 2002, the team would take shape at the expansion draft where they would select 19 players from 14 other NFL teams. It would take some time for the team to pick up steam, but by 2012 they would take the AFC South and have a tremendous showing in the Playoffs!

Keep a look out in the new season, when the Texans will be celebrating by wearing a special 10-year anniversary patch on their uniforms.

Two princes face off, Giants Cornerback, Prince Amukamara and Prince William, second in line to the Brittish crown. How do these two regal combatants measure up?

Despite being born in America, Prince Amukamara is next in line to become the chief of his family's tribe in Nigeria - take that, second-in-line Prince William. In his college days, Prince studied psychology and sociology, so he knows how to get into an opponent's head. After college, he just so happened to be drafted and go to the Super Bowl in the very same season. In case you forgot, Prince and the Giants won that game.

Prince William might be second in line for the Brittish crown, but that crown is useful in twelve different countries. When he got married, they also made him a Duke, so you might want to call him Duke Prince William Arthur Philip Louis. When he's not busy appreciating how long his name is, Prince William works as a search and rescue pilot, which you have to admit, is pretty awesome. 

The New England Patriots came within one lucky bounce from being this year's Super Bowl Champions. We're wondering what top areas the Patriots should address in order to both make it to the Super Bowl and come home victorious.

1. Upgrade the Pass Defense
Sure they improved in the Playoffs, but there's just no way around the fact that they have one of worst pass defenses in the NFL. If they are going to stay among the elite teams in the league this needs to be corrected. Look for them to spend a top draft pick on a top-level DB, maybe even more than one.

2. Add a Deep Threat
There's no denying that the Patriots have an amazing duo at TE, but this doesn't obscure the need for a speed-burner at WR who can stretch the field. If they were to add the ability to score from anywhere on the field they would be a nightmare to defend.

3. Develop a Legitimate Running Game
QB Tom Brady just can't be expected to do it all on his own. The Giants RB tandem gave a perfect example of how important it is to be able to run the ball. It keeps the defense honest, helps control the clock and takes some of the pressure off of Brady's shoulders. Could a free agent RB be a part of the Patriots off-season plans? We'd say, yes!

Star WR, less than a year after retiring, announced that he wants to get back in the game! In case you've forgotten about him, he's had an epic career.

Randy has played for 4 teams, including bringing the Patriots to the Super Bowl in 2007. He had at least 1,000 yards each season, and is tied with Terrell Owens for second place in total career TD receptions in NFL history. Want more? Check out this video of the Top 10 Randy Moss moments.

The Broncos had a very surprising run to the Playoffs led by Tim Tebow in 2011. To be successful in 2012 they need to make some adjustments.

1. Tebow Needs To Improve

His will to win and his leadership were huge reasons for success but without consistency passing, he'll have a rough time. We saw him make some big throws but next season he'll need to be able to hit it every time.

2. They Need Receivers

Demaryius Thomas sort of emerged this season but neither he nor Eric Decker were consistent. Tebow would benefit from a smart veteran receiver with sure hands to be a safety valve. There's some good free agents coming up that the Broncos will want to look for.

3. Mobile Blockers

Tebow likes to run around a lot. Having a TE that can stay in and block but be quick enough to get out for a short pass would be very helpful. The Broncos will also need to find linemen that are quick and can move with their QB because, and we can't say it enough, Tebow likes to run a lot.
