What is your favorite elementary/junior high school memory?

Mario: Making the All Star team in Baseball in 4th Grade.

How did you get your start playing football?

Mario: I started playing seriously in the 7th grade. I tried to play in the 5th grade and didn’t enjoy it at all. I would run around the field, not knowing what I was doing and all I could thing about was quitting. I stuck with it though and that was a pretty good decision.

What advice do you have for kids looking to join a sports team?

Mario: Don’t be scared, just give it a try. Sports give you the opportunity to meet people and live a healthy life. If you try something once and you don’t think you like it, try it again. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to realize that sports are something you really enjoy.

What is your favorite part about football?

Mario: Sacking the quarterback.

If you were not a football player what job would you like to have?

Mario: A fighter pilot.
