NFLRUSH: Did you have a favorite book?
Troy: As a kid I was a big Mark Twain fan. But that was kind of tough to read as a kid. I think I tried to read it 2 or 3 times in 4th grade. But it wasn't until last year that I could actually read it.
NFLRUSH: Who were your heroes as a kid?
Troy: I looked up to people like Walter Payton, you know I mean football players for their football abilities.
NFLRUSH: What do you like to do besides football?
Troy: Relaxation! Cultivating orchids ... reading ...
NFLRUSH: Did you play any other sports as a kid?
Troy: Yeah, every other sport. Track, basketball, baseball.
NFLRUSH: Do you see playing football as a job?
Troy: I do something that everybody else does, and that's work. And that's train. That's no different from a dentist going to school and studying. Going home studying, going to work and working. My job is no different from a janitor or dentist, so there is no reason why they should look up to a football player any more as a hero than their father as a janitor or whatever it is.
