In his second season in 2007, Brandon recorded 1,325 yards on 102 receptions.

He won the Class 3A state triple-jump championship with a jump of 48-feet, six-and-three-quarter inches as a senior in high school.

He enjoys restoring vintage automobiles in his spare time.
