NFL Play 60 Youth Football Festival Draft Clinics

The NFL and Nike, in conjunction with the 2008 NFL Draft, sponsored youth football clinics in Central Park for 1,000 New York City students. The students learned the importance of physical activity and exercising everyday, as well NFL Flag skills through action packed 3-on-2 scrimmages. Top NFL Draft prospects and current players from the New York Jets, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles attended the event and stepped onto the field to join the boys and girls in action and help promote the importance of the NFL's PLAY 60 message.

NFL Play 60 Youth Football Kickoff Clinics

The NFL in conjunction with the NFL's Kickoff festivities, are sponsoring another Youth Football Festival in Central Park for New York City students. The students will learn about the importance of physical activity and exercising everyday as well NFL Flag skills through action packed 3-on-2 scrimmages. NFL Players will be in attendance to play with students and help promote the importance of the NFL's Play60 message.

Pro Bowl Ohana Day

Is a free event in which the public is allowed to go to the stadium and get a behind-the-scenes look as they watch the AFC and NFC Pro Bowl teams practice the day before the game. Fans get the opportunity to participate in Pro Bowl themed contests, with opportunities to win merchandise and tickets to the real game.

NFL Club Hometown Huddle Events

Since 1999, the NFL has partnered with the United Way to bring Hometown Huddle events. These projects take place in all of the NFL markets on the same day in October. Players, coaches and volunteers from each team come together and participate in various community service projects. The projects range from building playgrounds, orchestrating food drives or just generally lending aid and assistance to those in their community. On average more than 300 players, team reps and their families help out every year.

Thanksgiving Day events

The NFL will continue to spread the Play 60 message with exciting performances during the half-time shows during Thanksgiving broadcasts. The NFL will also be unveiling a new way for fans around the globe to get involved by giving them an opportunity to give a charitable contribution to one of three groups dedicated to supporting underserved communities: KaBoom!, LISC and the United Way.

Super Bowl XLIII

The NFL will continue to incorporate its Play 60 messaging throughout Super Bowl week, with school visits, NFL character breakfasts and other exciting events. Play 60 also will be featured during the Super Bowl itself, as one lucky kid who took the NFL PLAY 60 Challenge on NFLRUSH.com will be chosen to hand the game ball to the referee before opening kickoff of Super Bowl XLIII.
