The Tennessee Titans have a 7-6 record, but have a very grim chance of making the playoffs. I think that the Titans are a good team, but they play in a tough division and they have difficult competition in the AFC. For example, they are in the wild race and have to deal with Pittsburgh and New York.
Rookie QB Jake Locker has been really impressive. He has a good arm and is a very smart player. Chris Johnson took a while to heat up, but once he did he became just like his old self. Another reason that they won’t make the playoffs is because of their weak defense.
Cortland Finnegan is a very strong CB, but they have virtually no D-line. WR Nate Washington has been very effective this season, but with his high ankle sprain he may be missing some time. If so, the Titans will be limited in the receiving game.
The Titans will pickup an easy win over the Colts to put them at 8-6, but that will not be enough to win the Wild Card. The upcoming game vs. the Texans will put the boot down.
The Titans will not make the playoffs due to some slow starts, a tough division, and a few key injuries.
