The Super Bowl was only two weeks ago but the NFL season waits for no man. That is made evident by the fact that the Scouting Combine is only a few weeks away. There are a few players that could improve their draft stock significantly with a good showing in the combine.
One player that could definitely get onto many teams’ radar with a strong showing is Texas Christian University QB Andy Dalton. Dalton proved he can win as he took TCU to the Rose Bowl title this year. In fact, he’s been to a bowl game every season throughout his tenure with the Horned Frogs. However, his athleticism has been in question, and mobility is necessary for him to be a successful NFL quarterback.
Another player that would be significantly helped by an influential display is Mark Herzlich. More than just a comeback story, he overcame Ewing’s sarcoma, which is a type of bone cancer that is extremely rare, and is now a draft prospect that may be a little underestimated. He just needs to prove once and for all that he has the speed and strength to be an impact player at the next level.
That’s it! Let me know if there are any players that you think need to have an eye-opening performance at the combine!
