Who is the best rookie quarterback? There are five rookie quarterbacks starting this season.
The oldest of the rookies is Brandon Wheedon, who is winless in his first four games. Then there is Ryan Tannehill, who has had some good starts and some really bad starts. Andrew Luck has been consistent, but has only one win so far.
That leaves, in my opinion, the two best starting rookies, Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson is 2-2, but one of those wins is questionable.
Therefore, in my opinion, the best rookie quarterback is RGIII. He has impressed me with all his grind-it-out wins and his ability to be a dual threat. He showed in a Week 1 win over New Orleans what he can do in the NFL. Sunday's win over Taampa Bay, on a last minute drive leading to a Billy Cundiff field goal, shows what the future holds for him.
I think RGIII will have to overcome a very tough NFC East division. It will be interesting to see how he does against the defending Super Bowl Champs, the New York Giants, in a few weeks.
