What happens when an unstoppable force like, say, the Denver Broncos offense, meets an immovable object such as, for instance, the Seattle Seahawks defense?
Really only one of two things can happen. Either a gaping hole will open up in the time-space continuum, wreaking havoc throughout the planet... or we'll have one of the greatest Super Bowls ever!
When the Denver Broncos square off against the Seattle Seahawks, it’ll mark only the second time in the past two decades the two #1 seeds meet in the Super Bowl. Both teams went 13-3 during the regular season and each defeated a bitter rival in their Conference Championship game to advance.
That might be where the similarities end.
The Broncos, led by QB Peyton Manning, are an explosive offensive team with many awesome weapons of mass point production. Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker, Knowshon Moreno... you might stop one or two of them but how are you going to stop them all?
You're going to bring the Seahawks defense, that's how. Richard Sherman. Kam Chancellor. Bobby Wagner. Chris Clemons. Oh my! The Seahawks defense matches the Broncos offense star for star!
The top rated passing offense meets the top rated passing defense, with the Super Bowl on the line. This is going to be awesome!
Watch Super Bowl XLVIII at 6:30pm ET on Sunday, February 2, on Fox.
