Started From The Bottom, Now We're Here

Last year was a tough year for the Eagles, Lions and Buccaneers. They all finished last in their division, and were embarassed in many of their games. However, it's a new year, and new coaches for some of these teams. The Eagles had a quarterback saga and fired their long-time coach Andy Reid. The former Oregon Ducks coach, Chip Kelly was brought in to run the show. It will be interesting to see what he does and how Michael Vick does in his fast- pace offense. However, the NFC East is too tough for this team to make it out.

The Lions, on the other hand, have a chance. With record-breaking Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford receiving a new long-term contract, the Lions have stability. Last year, they were plagued by injuries. The Lions ranked 23rd in rushing last year. However, the additon of Reggie Bush should change that and compliment their second-ranked passing offense.

This is the team that will go from the basement to the attic and make the playoffs.
