Seahawks to the Super Bowl!

In a classic NFC Championship battle, the Seattle Seahawks made the big plays in the second half to beat the San Francisco 49ers, 23-17.  The Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl, where they will face the AFC Champion Denver Broncos.

Down 10-3 in the third quarter, Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch broke out a 40-yard touchdown run to tie the game.  Lynch finished with 109 yards and one TD against the stingy 49er defense.

The 49ers struck right back on a 26-yard touchdown pass from QB Colin Kaepernick to WR Anquan Boldin.  Kaepernick had a great game running, finishing with 130 yards on the ground.

The Seahawks made all the big plays after that.  QB Russell Wilson connected with WR Jermaine Kearse for a huge 35-yard touchdown on 4th and seven.  From there the Seahawks defense took over, forcing three turnovers in the 4th quarter to seal the game.

The Seahawks are going to their second Super Bowl ever and first since 2006.
