Winners of the Take a Player to School Sweepstakes got their prizes in the form of NFL player visits! It was an exciting time for both the winners and the players. Here's a look at each of the visits:
Amani Toomer - Giants
Chase T., a sixth grader from New Jersy, brought in Giants WR Amani Toomer for show and tell. Chase and Amani had a blast spending the day together!
Jason Campbell - Redskins
Taylor D., a student at P.B. Smith Elementary School, had an extraordinary day when Redskins QB Jason Campbell accompanied her to school. Jason answered questions from Taylor and her classmates and gave some good advice about getting exercise everyday.
Kirk Morrison - Raiders
Mason F., a third grader, got a ride to school in a limo with Raiders LB Kirk Morrison. Kirk showed Mason and his classmates how to stay fit so they could start to Play 60 everyday!
Donte Whitner - Bills
Adam W., a freshman at Niagara Catholic, got the thrill of a lifetime when Bills SS Donte Whitner spent the day with him at school. Adam had broken his foot but Donte definitely brightened his day.
Maurice Jones-Drew - Jaguars
Justin C., a student at Hyde Park Elementary, had a big day at school when Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew came to visit. Maurice talked about studying and keeping your mind and body strong.
Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks - Buccaneers
Timothy W., a student at West Shore Elementary School, hung out with Buccaneers LB Derrick Brooks and RB Warrick Dunn on his day with two superstars. Derrick and Warrick excited the whole student body while delivering the message to get out and Play 60!
Steve Smith - Panthers
Brooke C., a first grader at New Hope Elementary, took Panthers WR Steve Smith to school with her. Steve encouraged all the students to play outside and get 60 minutes of exercise every day.
