The Patriots opened their 2013 training camp focused on finding the right combinations with the new offensive pieces.
Among the first week notes were:
From playing QB to working with the special team, Tim Tebow has done a little bit of everything this camp.
As expected, new WR Danny Amendola has stepped right into the Wes Welker role. He could easily catch 100 passes this season if he becomes Tom Brady’s favorite target.
Rookie WRs Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce have shown promise, but need to work on their consistency.
Aqib Talib had a standout performance at the team scrimmage. He made two interceptions, one that would have been a pick-six in a real game.
Former Patriot Tedy Bruschi gave an intense ten-minute speech to the players.
