The Carolina Panthers intercepted Tom Brady in the end zone on the final play of the game to withstand a nail-biting final drive and defeat the New England Patriots, 24-20.
In a game that might prove a pivotal one in Cam Newton’s career, he led the Panthers to a fourth quarter comeback win throwing 3 TD passes and rushing for 62 yards.
It appeared that Tom Brady was on his way towards another miracle finish, as he led the Patriots down the field in the last minute of the game, only to see his final pass land in the arms of Panthers Safety Robert Lester.
Officials initially threw a flag on the play, apparently for pass interference, but then waved it off.
