Look Out for Houston

The Houston Texans have had a great preseason so far with two wins and no losses. Both games have shown something about the team.

The Texans' first game against the Carolina Panthers showed that the defense is fine without superstars Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans. They shut down Cam Newton, and Brooks Reed had an awesome sack. Also, it made fans like me wonder if the Texans will make a roster spot for primary kick returner Trindon Holliday. He had a 90 yard kick return that turned heads!

In Week 2, Holliday put critics to rest with an 87 yard punt return. The game against the San Francisco 49ers also showed that Matt Schaub is fine after his foot surgery. Schaub went 11-14 with 128 yards and a touchdown pass to Lestar Jean. Both wins were significant and are going to prep the Texans for a great season!

I find the Texans winning the AFC South this season. But not the Super Bowl.
