After a long and exciting NFL Draft, the dust has settled and the predictions have begun. Everyone has already been speculating non-stop about Blake Bortles and Manziel in regards to who will be the better QB. But, in my opinion, I think everyone is overlooking one of the best prospects in the draft. Out of Clemson and taken 4th over all is none other than Sammy Watkins. Buffalo traded up to get Watkins adding to its explosive young offense.
Watkins was high on everyone's draft board for one reason: he has great hands like Jerry Rice, but can run like Brandon Jacobs when he needs to. In college Watkins dominated everyone he played against. Last year, he had 101 catches and 12 touchdowns, a career high for catches and tying a career high for TDs.
It will be very interesting to see how Watkins pans out and I can't wait to see how it goes!
