Kid Reporter: My Favorite Thanksgiving Day Game

My favorite game from Thanksgiving was the Detroit vs. Green Bay matchup. I think without Aaron Rogers, the Packers are just not the same. Aaron is the emotional leader on the team and if he is not playing, the Packers have looked flat.

However, this game was lost by the defense who allowed Detroit to score 40 points. I think the Packers defense should step their game up. Mathew Stafford, quarterback for the Lions, was able to use his skills and prove that he can compete in this league. He threw three touchdown passes and had a backup running back almost get 100 yards and a score.

The Green Bay Packers Matt Flynn had only 139 yards passing and Eddie Lacy had 16 yards on 10 carries. You rarely win a NFL football game with so few yards. When a team is only able to get 139 yards passing, it has a bigger impact than just scoring and allows for better field position for the opposing teams. The Packers have to fix their quarterback 'problem' before they are going to start winning.
