Kid Reporter: Good Move Long Term?

Have you heard about Victor Cruz's new contract with the New York Giants? If you are a Giants fan you're probably thinking "Great! Cruz is AWESOME!" But what about Hakeem Nicks? Will the Giants have enough to pay the Nicks?

Without Nicks, would Cruz really be getting the numbers he has been receiving? If Nicks is gone due to the impact of the salary cap, will Cruz be as productive? Would he become the number 1 target?

Would defenses use their number 1 cornerback to cover Cruz? How do you think this will effect the Giants in the future?

So what do you think: Was the huge contract good for the Giants long term?

had the same idea man this is a very good team with good WR's if they lose nicks they have to trust cruz to make all the catches because then hes the only WR they CAN trust

no, it was not a good idea because if he gets hurt, the money will be worth nothing. signing a four year deal and giving the other half to nicks wouldve been a smarter choice
