The Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers will meet in Super Bowl XLVII, making it the first time in NFL history two brothers will meet in the Super Bowl as coaches. This is how they got here:
Baltimore prevailed in a 28-13 victory over the New England Patriots. Ray Lewis provided an emotional boost to the Ravens, and Joe Flacco came up clutch throwing 3 touchdown passes. Ray Rice added a touchdown. They pressured Tom Brady and came up with a few key plays to beat the Patriots.
San Francisco 49ers:
Colin Kaepernick led the 49ers to a 28-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The 49ers got down early after a touchdown catch by Julio Jones. Kaepernick came back, and led his team. Frank Gore had 80 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns, and Navorro Bowman broke up a pass to seal the victory. The Harbaugh bowl is set.
The game will be exciting and will be Ray Lewis' last one. Ray has provided an emotional boost after announcing his retirement at the end of the season. The Harbaugh brothers will be competing for the ultimate prize. I think the 49ers win if Colin Kaepernick exploded and the 49ers can control the clock. I think if they stop the Ravens offense, mainly Joe Flacco, they'll be good. I think the Ravens win if they will limit the big plays from Colin Kaepernick and control the clock. My prediction is the Ravens win, 31-23. Ray Lewis will end his career on a limb, and go out strong. Expect an emotional game for Ray, and enough of a boost to win.
The question is: Who do you think will win? Tell me in the comments.
