NFL RUSH
Hall of Fame Class of 2013 - Cris Carter

It was said of WR Cris Carter, “all he does is catch touchdowns.” He ended his illustrious NFL career having caught 130 TD passes, which at the time was second only to the great Jerry Rice (208). An eight-time Pro Bowler, Carter was a leader on the field and a mentor to young players off the field.

Cris Carter Facts

Carter was named to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 1999.

He was the first NFL player to record a 150-yard receiving game in 3 different decades. Jerry Rice is the only other one.

When he retired from the Minnesota Vikings he was their all-time leader in receptions (1,004), receiving yards (12,383), and touchdowns (110).
