After a heart breaking loss to the Falcons last year in the playoffs, the Seahawks have turned the corner. Last year, they looked like a good team with a are at rookie QB. Now, they are playing for it all in a great Superbowl match up against the Denver Broncos.
This is only the second time since the NFL merger in 1970 that a top ranked defense, Seatlle, will play the top ranked offense, Denver. The last tine this happened was in 2003, when Tampa Bay's top rated defense beat Oakland and it's top rated offense 48-21.
I think the Seahawks will set the tempo early, running the ball ofter trying to keep Denver's offense off the field. Marshawn Lynch will get at least 20 carries and around 100 yards. When the Broncos commit to the run and start to pack the box look for Percy Harvin and Golden Tate deep. I think if the Seahawks control the tempo and time of possession, they will be good to go!
Now the Seahawks defense may be solid however, with 3rd string corner, Byron Maxwell, starting in place of Brandon Browner, Peyton Manning just might pick on Maxwell with one Wes Welker. This game will be a good one! Can't wait.
Final Score: Seahawks 24 Broncos 20
