It’s the big game, the Super Bowl! This is your last change to win it all, so pay close attention to these suggestions. One wrong move could be the diference between glory and regret.
QB: Joe Flacco – Baltimore Ravens
Yes. It’s true we’ve been a bit down on “Air Flacco” this year and we’re willing to admit that we were wrong. Win or lose, we see the potential for lots of big plays.
RB: Ray Rice – Baltimore Ravens
This was a tough call to make. Frank Gore is a great player and the equal to Rice in pretty much every way, except one. Ray Rice is much more active as a receiver. This was enough to tip the scales in favor of starting him.
WR: Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens
It stands to reason if we think Flacco will have a huge game, somebody will have a big receiving game. So, after much research, and several coin flips, we are recommending Boldin as the WR to start.
TE: Vernon Davis – San Francisco 49ers
Davis has been the one to benefit most by the insertion of Kaepernick into the lineup. With the Ravens likely to blitz a lot, look for Davis to be active as the safety valve option.
DEF: San Francisco 49ers
Talk about a impossible choice. Both teams have strong opportunistic defenses, so you can’t really go wrong either way. We’re going with the 49ers because… um, because we are.
Wild Card: Colin Kaepernick – San Francisco 49ers
Okay, though we are a little worried about how he’ll handle the pressure of starting on such a big stage, the kid is just too talented in too many ways not to have in your lineup.
We suggest that you “Sit'em” yourself on a comfortable chair, lean back, and enjoy the best sporting event of them all.
